App Extensibility for Create Sales Orders – Automatic Extraction: Custom Proposal for Sales Order Request Fields (Using BAdI)

In the Create Sales Orders – Automatic Extraction app, the system starts data extraction and data proposal for sales order requests immediately after your purchase order files are uploaded. If SAP pre-delivered proposal rules do not satisfy your business needs, key users can create custom logic to implement your own proposal rules.

Here is an example procedure. In your custom logic, you want the system to set the sales area to 0001/01/01 if the company code is 0001, and set the request delivery date to the current date plus seven days if this date is initial. In case ML can not extract the date from file or date is not exist in the file.

How to Find Which Structure is Included in Which Structure?

Introduction

In Every Projects you go there will be requirement to enhance the Standard Screen to add some new Custom Fields. The general approach you do use Append Structure and add your Custom Fields. Sometime while analysing it may happen that you have the Append Structure name but you cannot find the Actual Structure it is attached to. You must be thinking Where-used list should help you find out but No it does not.

Solution:

Let us first analyze the issue. Suppose the below structure I am looking to find where is attached.

Google backint tool  – introduction

Google backint is use for HANA backup and recovery on google cloud environment. High level it directly stores backups on cloud storage and speed up backup/recovery due to use of parallel channels.

Standard backint backup configuration work for same server/SID recovery scenario but doesn’t work for different SID / server recovery scenario.  i.e. using one server DB backup to restore on other DB server via backint.  This blog will address on require setup to make such recovery easy and faster.
